The committee's two-day policy meetings are currently scheduled as follows:
- Jan. 30-31;
- Mar. 19-20;
- Apr. 30 – May 1;
- Jun. 11-12;
- Jul. 30-31;
- Sept. 17-18;
- Nov. 6-7; and
- Dec. 17-18.
The FOMC next meets Sept. 25-26, and two more times before the end of the year: Nov. 7-8 and Dec. 18-19.
Following its policy-setting meeting in July, the FOMC elected to hike the federal funds rate target within the range of 5.25 to 5.50 percent.
