The cover feature, “How CDFI Changes Could Affect Participation,” dives into NAFCU’s concerns regarding recent proposals related to the CDFI application process and how they may impact credit unions. The association has shared its opposition of the proposed changes to the CDFI certification standards and has joined with other trades to raise concerns to lawmakers

The second feature article, “Protecting Older Members,” tackles the best ways protect members from elder abuse scams with insights from NAFCU Regulatory Affairs Counsel James Akin and CFPB Office of Older Americans Assistant Director Deborah Royster.
