NCUA releases new cybersecurity tools for CUs

ncua The NCUA launched its new Cybersecurity Resource Center this week including an updated Automated Cybersecurity Evaluation Toolbox (ACET) for credit unions to use as a resource for assessing their cybersecurity maturity.

ACET acts as a downloadable app developed to be a holistic cybersecurity resource for credit unions of all sizes. Credit unions can use this tool to identify and determine their level of cybersecurity preparedness. Additionally, the ACET includes a self-assessment that is completely voluntary and does not introduce any new requirements or expectations on credit unions.

NAFCU will continue to work with the NCUA to ensure credit unions stay up to date with cybersecurity protection and threats.
