#NAFCUNation: New campaign to elevate CU advocacy, celebrate industry
NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger Monday announced a new digital and social media campaign – #NAFCUNation – to elevate the credit union industry and tout its efforts to serve millions of Americans and support local communities. Through #NAFCUNation, member credit unions are encouraged to share stories to help the association amplify its ongoing advocacy with federal lawmakers and regulators, conversations with the press, and public outreach.
Credit unions can visit the #NAFCUNation page on the association’s website, and use #NAFCUNation when posting on social media, to submit impactful stories covering topics such as:
- small business lending and helping Main Streets throughout America thrive;
- helping members achieve financial freedom and reach milestones like buying a first home or saving for retirement;
- volunteering in the community and offering financial education resources;
- launching new products or services to better serve members; and more.
Video testimonials can be recorded directly on the #NAFCUNation page to further enhance credit union stories, and photo uploads are encouraged as well.
As a direct membership association, NAFCU’s success is bolstered by feedback from member credit unions. By sharing how your institution supports the financial success of families and businesses, NAFCU can better educate lawmakers and regulators on how their decisions ultimately impact the industry and nation as a whole.
Visit #NAFCUNation to learn more and share your story.
