NAFCU names Allyson Browning Senior Member Experience Strategist; ramps up growth
WASHINGTON, DC — The National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) has named Allyson Browning Senior Member Experience Strategist, effective immediately.
“We are excited to welcome Ally to our membership team as we embark on our next phase of growth,” said NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger. “Her experience in marketing and business development for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers coupled with her knowledge of the credit union industry uniquely positions her to connect with NAFCU’s membership and help us deliver extreme member service. In this new role, Ally’s mission will be to ensure credit union leaders take full advantage of NAFCU’s bold advocacy agenda and resources, responsive compliance assistance, and forward-looking education and training programs.”
“I am thrilled to rejoin NAFCU and its membership division and look forward to helping the association continue to grow,” said Allyson Browning, Senior Member Experience Strategist. “As an on-the-ground representative, I’ll be meeting with credit union leaders across the country to ensure NAFCU continues to serve their needs and, in return, that they continue to receive the personal engagement they deserve.”
Furthering the association’s commitment to growth, Browning will be responsible for creating opportunities to increase NAFCU’s interaction in the credit union community and to maximize member engagement within NAFCU. She will report to Catherine Safady, NAFCU’s Vice President of Membership and Sales.
Previously, Browning served as Senior Manager of Corporate Partnership Marketing at Cavaliers Operating Company. Prior to her work with the Cavaliers, she served as NAFCU’s Senior Associate Director of Legislative Affairs and as a legislative assistant for Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas, as a policy advisor.
Browning graduated from the University of Alabama with a degrees in political science and communication studies.
