NAFCU announces 2023-2024 board of directors
NAFCU yesterday announced its 2023-2024 board of directors as the association started Engage 2023: NAFCU’s Annual Conference by holding its member-only Annual Business Meeting.
“Our board is comprised of accomplished credit union leaders who are incredibly passionate about serving their members and communities. Their dedication to strengthening the industry will support NAFCU’s efforts to ensure our institutions have every opportunity to grow and compete in the evolving financial services landscape,” said NAFCU Board of Directors Chair Gary Grinnell.
NAFCU officers for 2023-2024 are:
- Gary A. Grinnell, chair and Eastern Region Director – president and CEO of Corning Federal Credit Union in Corning, N.Y.;
- Brian T. Schools, vice chair and Eastern Region Director – president and CEO of Chartway Federal Credit Union in Virginia Beach, Va.;
- Karen C. Harbin, treasurer and Director-at-Large – president and CEO of Commonwealth Credit Union in Frankfort, Ky.; and
- Lonnie Nicholson, secretary and Southern Region Director – president and CEO of EECU in Fort Worth, Texas.
Board members include:
- Whitney Anderson, Director-at-Large – president and CEO of Elements Financial Federal Credit Union in Indianapolis, Ind.;
- Melanie Kennedy, Southern Region Director – president of Southwest Financial Federal Credit Union in Farmers Branch, Texas;
- Frank Mancini, Director-at-Large – president and CEO of Connex Credit Union in North Haven, Conn.;
- Karen Rosales, Director-at-Large – president and CEO of Arlington Community Federal Credit Union in Arlington, Va.;
- Stephanie Sherrodd, Western Region Director – president and CEO of Sandia Laboratory Federal Credit Union in Albuquerque, N.M.;
- Keith Sultemeier, Western Region Director – president and CEO of Kinecta Federal Credit Union in Manhattan Beach, Calif.; and
- Eli Vazquez, Director-at-Large – CEO of Bank-Fund Staff Federal Credit Union in Washington, D.C.
