Harper sworn in as NCUA Chairman
Todd Harper was sworn in Monday by FHFA Director Sandra Thompson to serve a full term as NCUA Board Chairman; NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger was in attendance.
The Senate last month confirmed the nomination of NCUA Chairman Harper in a 59 - 40 vote. The Senate Banking Committee in January advanced Harper’s nomination. Of note, Harper’s term will expire April 2027.
NAFCU works closely with the NCUA to achieve an effective regulatory environment that supports a strong, safe, and sound credit union industry.
