Brazile, Barbour headline NAFCU’s 2023 Congressional Caucus
NAFCU will welcome political strategist, commentator, and former Interim Chair of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile alongside former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour as the 2023 Congressional Caucus keynote speakers. Brazile and Barbour are high-powered political minds and will break down the major issues of the day. Together, they’ll discuss the American political scene, the state of the country, and the upcoming general election.
But that's not all – we have an exceptional lineup of speakers from Congress and the Administration, including the esteemed House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-OR) and other influential policymakers, regulators, NAFCU staff, and key stakeholders. Each week, we are adding new voices that matter, ensuring a truly comprehensive and impactful experience.
Credit unions can register for NAFCU’s 2023 Congressional Caucus to engage lawmakers and regulators on a wide range of industry topics and all things happening on the Hill. Congressional Caucus, happening Sept. 10-13, will be held in-person in Washington, D.C.
Throughout the event, attendees will have the chance to set up meetings with lawmakers and regulators to advocate for key credit union issues. NAFCU staff will share tips on how credit unions can best advocate for regulatory relief and industry-sought legislation. These necessary conversations will help Congress better champion and support credit unions and the 137 million members they serve.
Registration for the event is currently available online. Stay tuned to NAFCU Today for updates on the lineup of speakers.
