8 premier NAFCU conferences open for registration

Although NAFCU's Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee Conference, which starts Monday in Newport, R.I., is sold out, credit union leaders have eight more opportunities this year to take advantage of NAFCU's industry-leading programming.
NAFCU's Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee Conference gives credit union volunteers the leadership skills and knowledge to ensure effective execution of board and supervisory duties. The conference features a pre-conference workshop and sessions to attain NAFCU training certificates and the NAFCU Certified Volunteer Expert (NCVE) designation. NAFCU's remaining 2018 conference schedule includes:
- NAFCU's 51st Annual Conference and Solutions Expo, June 19-22 in Seattle, Wash.: The industry's premier strategic planning event for credit union executives and board members features three days of high-quality content, each focused on a different angle of strategic planning. Throughout the conference, credit union attendees will hear from more than 50 industry experts during more than 40 sessions in a carefully curated agenda. - BSA Seminar, Aug. 12-15 in Denver, Colo.: This seminar is designed by leading BSA authorities and will review the latest trends in money laundering and best practices to help credit union compliance officers better protect their organizations. Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn the NAFCU Certified Bank Secrecy Officer (NCBSO) designation; current NCBSOs can recertify by attending. - Risk Management Seminar, Aug. 13-15 in Denver, Colo.: This seminar will help attendees stay on top of emerging risks and threats and provide the tools needed to improve a credit union's risk management program.
