14 named for NAFCU Marketing Awards
Fourteen winners were named Tuesday in NAFCU's 2011 Marketing Awards Competition and will be honored at this year's Strategic Growth Conference, set for March 15-17 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
The competition recognized seven promotions in two asset-size groups: credit unions with $150 million or more in assets and less than $150 million. The winners are:
Best Annual Report
- Valero FCU in San Antonio (less than $150 million)
- Hudson Valley FCU in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. ($150 million or more)
Best Promotional Campaign
- Coastline FCU in Jacksonville, Fla. (less than $150 million)
- GFA FCU in Gardner, Mass. ($150 million or more)
Best Lending Promotion
- Bridgeway FCU in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. (less than $150 million)
- Nassau Educators FCU in Westbury, N.Y. ($150 million or more)
Best Membership Promotion
- North Carolina Community FCU in Goldsboro, N.C. (less than $150 million)
- Grow Financial FCU in Tampa, Fla. ($150 million or more)
Best Member Newsletter
- Fort Lee FCU in Prince George, Va. (less than $150 million)
- Franklin Mint FCU in Broomall, Pa. ($150 million or more)
Best Product or Service Promotion
- MAFCU FCU in Brookline, Mass. (less than $150 million)
- First Financial FCU in Wall, N.J. ($150 million or more)
Best Web Site
- Fort Lee FCU in Prince George, Va. (less than $150 million)
- Greater TEXAS FCU in Austin, Texas ($150 million or more)
On a related note, NAFCU is accepting applications until March 18 for its 2011 Annual Awards Competition for designations of Federal Credit Union of the Year, CEO of the Year, Professional of the Year and Volunteer of the Year in the same two asset-size categories.
