Perspective at 102 Degrees

A cold took me down yesterday. It was a doozy.
Fever, almost 103 two nights ago. (If you thought of Foreigner after reading that, I think you and I would get along fine.) Aches. Congestion. The whole nine yards.
You can forget how wonderful feeling normal is. It takes a nasty bug to remind you. Yesterday, I would have traded anything for normal.Â
And so it is with our jobs. Our work. And our lives. When you hit that tough patch, keep your chin up. Push through.Â
It is those rough patches that allow us to enjoy when the path levels out.Â
