NAFCU begins its sold out 2022 Lending Conference tomorrow in Greenville, S.C. Attendees will gain the tools they need to build a flourishing credit union lending portfolio and receive updates on lending's latest trends, best practices, and strategies — along with a comprehensive understanding of how to integrate them into their credit unions.

NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger will kick off the conference with an opening speech before attendees get an update on current economic and regulatory state of affairs. The first day of the conference will look at fraud trends, the current mortgage market, specialty loans, and best lending practices.

Wednesday begins with a panel discussion on how credit unions can engage members and maximize their lending experience. Following the panel, attendees will learn the optimal approach to lending in difficult economic times and key collections strategies and effective processes for foreclosures or delinquencies. Attendees will also hear about the importance of open lines of communication during the lending process and strategies to boost their credit union’s profitability.

Thursday, NAFCU will close out the Lending Conference by discussing the value of using fintechs, buy now pay later programs, and ideal growth strategies for credit union lending portfolios.
