NCUA agenda covers 2022-2026 strategic plan, the agency’s 2022 performance plan, more
The NCUA Board next week will discuss the agency’s 2022-2026 strategic plan, which was approved by the board in November of last year. The board will also receive a briefing on Corporate System Resolution Update.
The meeting, scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Eastern, will be available via livestream on the agency’s website.
NAFCU Vice President of Regulatory Affairs Ann Kossachev earlier this year wrote to the NCUA regarding its draft 2022-2026 strategic plan calling on the agency to provide credit unions the necessary flexibility to adapt to new technologies and to take steps to reduce credit unions’ regulatory compliance burdens.
Kossachev also urged the NCUA to adjust its goals and objectives to ensure it aligns with the final budget and applies lessons learned from the pandemic to maintain the efficient use of credit union dollars.
Of note, the board will also discuss the NCUA’s 2022 performance plan.
