Rep. Hudson awarded NAFCU's Congressional Credit Union Champion Award
Rep. Richard Hudson, R-N.C., has been awarded NAFCU's Congressional Credit Union Champion Award. Hudson was nominated by President and CEO of Bragg Mutual Federal Credit Union Steve Foley, who presented Hudson with the award Friday.
NAFCU launched the new award this year to thank members of Congress for their support of the credit union industry and efforts to create a healthy legislative and regulatory environment that allows credit unions to thrive.
The Congressional Credit Union Champion Award honors those who've gone the extra mile in supporting credit unions through the introduction or cosigning of credit union-friendly legislation, leading or signing onto "Dear Colleague" letters in support of credit union initiatives and exhibiting a pro-credit-union voting record.
