NAFCU’s Roadshow webinar series reached 1000s, facilitated coast-to-coast CU collaboration

RoadshowNAFCU’s mission of providing extreme member service has remained a top priority amid the coronavirus pandemic and the association has remained in close contact with credit unions by seeking ways to keep the industry informed of the latest information and challenges impacting operations. Last week, the association wrapped up its complimentary Virtual Roadshow webinar series which featured events covering all 50 states and U.S. territories where credit unions operate.

Through the state-by-state webinars, the association reached more than 1,000 credit union leaders from all over the country, bringing the industry together to discuss the unique issues credit unions are facing in each state.

During the virtual events, NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger, NAFCU executives, and staff led discussions on how the global crisis has impacted the industry, what credit unions can expect from a regulatory and legislative perspective in the coming months, and offered strategies to move forward.

Attendees also had a chance to submit questions throughout the presentation via the webinar platform, leading to discussions on a number of key issues including the current political climate and how the election may impact activities at the CFPB and NCUA.
