Some Choices Matter: A national branding campaign experiment
Written by Anthony Demangone
I've heard a number of people in the past few weeks talk about the need for a national branding campaign for credit unions.Â
I can see both sides of the argument. Many such campaigns fail. They cost a ton. Â And free riders benefit from the effort, without donating any sweat equity into the campaign.
I'll say this, though. Many of the best movements weren't orchestrated. They simply sprang up when the time was right.Â
So here's today's experiment. There are roughly 1,700 people that read this blog. I'll ask each of you a favor. Watch this video.
If you can't see an image, you can watch the video here.
If you agree with the video, do me another favor. Post it to your Facebook page. Tweet it. If there are other social media channels that you use, share it through them.Â
And do me one more favor. You may have credit union "friends" within your network. When you share it, ask others to share it as well.Â
Collectively, let's see what we can do. The cost? Nothing. Potential? Let's see.Â
This video currently has 11,137 views. Which is a shame. Let's see what it looks like next week.
