Brett Favre and BSA Magnetic Media Filing; Mr. Secretary
While we're not sure whether Mr. Favre will retire from the N.F.L., we know this for sure: FinCEN is retiring its magnetic media filing program on December 31, 2008.
Current Magnetic Media filers must transition to BSA Electronic Filing (E-Filing) no later than December 31, 2008.

Yesterday, Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson spoke at the Washington D.C. Exchequer Club. (I was lucky enough to get a seat!) Here are his remarks. Secretary Paulson touched upon a number of issues, so I think reading his remarks is time well spent.Â
