Success and Pressure

Written by Anthony Demangone

If you do your job right, your organization will push the envelope a bit. Spread its wings.

Push its boundaries.

And when that happens, you'll push against someone else's boundaries.

Your competitors.

When that happens, they'll complain. Maybe you aren't playing by the "rules."  They'll push back.

Not only would I say be ready for it, but cherish that push back. Cherish that pressure.

But cause there's a different kind of pressure. The pressure you feel when you are being out-hustled.

I much prefer pressure of the first kind.Â
