Your Weekend Credit Union Reading Pile, Courtesy of NAFCU
Compiled by Anthony Demangone, Powered by NAFCU
Fall begins tomorrow.
When I was a kid, you carved a pumpkin. (Which was later smashed by some neighborhood ruffian.) And you had a slice of pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. That was it.
But now, the start of fall means one must buckle-up for an onslaught of pumpkin-spiced lattes, pumpkin-flavored ice cream, and scores of other pumpkin-related treats. Whoever is doing PR for pumpkins has been doing A+ work.
Now, on to this week's reading pile.
- Weekly unemployment claims lowest since 1969. (Calculated Risk)
- Retaining talent. Money Isn't everything. (Michael Hyatt)
- Divings boards. (Godin)
- What industry dominates your state? (How Much)
- People always complain about that. (Shep Hyken)
- Nine rules to find long-term happiness. (Inc.)
- Knowledge versus skill. (Wealth of Common Sense)
- Stay connected with NAFCU
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. As always, if you need anything from NAFCU, just say the word.
