I had to laugh. It must be that time of year.
I was speaking with a NAFCU member from Alabama this week. As the call concluded, he said he had to add just one more thing to the conversation.
"Roll Tide!" he bellowed!
Indeed! Here's to new beginnings and high hopes.
Now, on to this week's reading pile.
- Two-time Pulitzer Prize-Winner, Bob Woodward, to address NAFCU's Congressional Caucus. (NAFCU) (I remember when my entire class watched All the President's Men in high school like it was yesterday.)
- A top IBM executive is also a psychologist. She said all bosses should know one basic truth of human behavior. (BI)
- Thinking Big and Survivorship Bias. (The Irrelevant Investor)
- Adopt a highway? How about adopting a vacant lot? The case for building $1,500 parks. (FastCo)
- Despite digital options, consumer stick with their own FI...for now. (FB)
- Amazon's next move: Managing your money? (CNN Money)
- Exclude the "But" (Leadership Freak)
- Being a parent means always having ketchup around. I found this historical piece about the condiment to be a good read. (Smithsonian)
Have a great weekend, everyone.
- Anthony
