Your Credit Union Weekend Reading Pile, Courtesy of NAFCU
Compiled by Anthony Demangone, Powered by NAFCU
It has been a great week.
NAFCU testified on the Hill. We had some major meetings with lawmakers. And we picked up some new members.
We'll keep pushing hard this summer for your credit union, although my colleagues will have to cover the fort next week as I'm off to Wyoming and Montana for a little rest and relaxation with the family.
As always, thanks for what you do - and holler if we can do anything for you or your credit union. Now, on to the reading pile!
- NAFCU's advocacy team wins an award. (NAFCU)
- The jerk fallacy. (Godin)
- 36 obvious investment truths. Although many of these seem to apply perfectly to risk management. (A Wealth of Common Sense)
- Watch Dan Berger's remarks from NAFCU's Annual Conference. (YouTube)
- Teens are ditching Facebook like mad. An interesting look at how quickly teenagers are changing how they use social media. (Fast Company)
- How to manage energy: 4 out of 10 are drained at work. (Leadership Freak)
- Watch Paul McCartney in Carpool Karaoke. Witness the power of music and joie de vivre. (YouTube)
- A very good video from John Spence. (LinkedIn)
- Here is what the typical American worker earns at each age. (BI)
- Five fantastic CEO annual letters. (Behavioral Value Investor)
- Three traits of digital-forward banks. (Bank Innovation)
