SAFE Act - Consumer Access; CFPB Advisor Named

The SAFE Act included a requirement for consumers and members to be able to view mortgage loan originator information in a publicly available database. Â That "Consumer Access" database is now up and running and can be found here. Â This is a good way to see what your members might see. Â

Bart Shapiro has been announced as Senior Advisor for the CFPB Office of Community Banks and Credit Unions. Â This office is headed by Elizabeth Vale.
