ATM Fee Disclosures; CFPB Challenged; July 11 NAFCU Compliance Webcast

Tomorrow, the House Financial Services Committee will mark-up H.R. 4367.  The bill would repeal the dual disclosure requirement and, hopefully, put an end to the cottage industry of individuals driving around the country suing financial institutions.  For additional information, check out the NAFCU Today.

CFPB & FSOC.  A community bank from Texas, the Competitive Enterprise Institute and the 60 Plus Association have challenged the constitutionality of the creation of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Director Cordray's appointment and the creation of the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC).
