What's next?

Written by Anthony Demangone

We all know that reputation is important. We measure and control reputation risk at our credit unions. We know that our personal reputation is important.

I read something recently that allowed me to look at reputation in a new light. No surprise, it came from Seth Godin.

Reputation is what people expect us to do next. It's their expectation of the quality and character of the next thing we produce or say or do.

It can be hard measuring your own reputation. We might miss some of the good or bad things we do. But let's say we could. Here are the questions of the day. Using Godin's definition...

  • What do others expect you to do next?
  • How about your credit union?
