Every workplace has its issues. No process that involves humans ever runs flawlessly. Why?

Because every process involves humans.

Sometimes, we look for brilliant solutions to these complicated problems. But I wonder how many problems would evaporate if everyone followed these simple rules.

1. Show up on time.
2. Work hard.
3. Play well in the sandbox.

Would those rules solve 25% of the problems we face? More? Am I missing any basic rules? 

Sometimes I think we make things more complicated than they have to be.
