A little weekend reading...

Compiled by Anthony Demangone

So, I'm helping to coach the Arlington Babe Ruth Angels - one of the best coach-pitch baseball teams you will ever find. At least in our neighborhood.

To start off practice, the five and six-year-olds stand about 20 feet apart and do what they can to throw balls over each others' heads or into the nearest mud puddle.

Well, this past Wednesday, out of the blue, Briggs turned to me.

"Dad, do you want to play catch with me?"

It doesn't get better than that. Even in Iowa.

Have a great weekend, everyone.
