Humility and Gratitude

Written by Anthony Demangone

This is the week for being thankful.

A national holiday devoted to giving thanks is a wonderful thing. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. The gathering of friends and family to break bread and give thanks is a powerful thing.

The only problem with Thanksgiving is that it comes but once a year.

Family

This is why I love Thanksgiving...

But I really want to write about humility today. I truly believe that humility is one of the most powerful traits a person, especially a leader, can have. Because once we have humility in our heart, it unlocks much of what we are supposed to do.

With humility, it is about them. Not about you.

Humility brings attention to different points of view.

A humble leader empowers others.

A humble leader serves others.

Humility brings the realization that we need others.

And that realization, leads to giving thanks.
