My senior year of high school, I met an exchange student from Germany. Carsten and IÂ became fast friends. We're friends to this day.
This past weekend, Carsten and his family visited Washington, D.C.
Now, this may shock you, but Briggs speaks little to no German. And Carsten's son Richard knows just a few words of English.Â
As we walked around the various monuments, Carsten and I caught up. At one point, we looked up and saw this.
If you want to be friends, why let a language get in the way?Â
