The all-important ratio

Written by Anthony Demangone

It seems that a Secret Santa has struck early this year.

On my desk was a few post-it-note notepads.  On each was an empty list of five items.

The heading?

"Five things that I will do today to make a difference."

I love it!

And it got me thinking.

I think all of us could make a very short list of the very important things we face. The big items that we must improve. The big nut we must crack.

How much of our day is spent on those items?

What is that "time spent working/time spent working on the key things" ratio?

Have a good Thursday everyone. One last thing. If your credit union isn't a NAFCU member, I'd love to talk to you about the value we would bring to your credit union. More than 150 credit unions have joined NAFCU in the last 18 months. I'd love to chat with you to give you a glimpse of what my colleagues could do for you and your team.
