NCUA Board Meeting. The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) held its October 2020 board meeting and unanimously approved two items. First, the Board approved a proposed rule that would modernize the NCUA’s derivatives rule and transition to a principles-based methodology. Second, the Board approved a final rule that updates and simplifies several provisions in the agency’s corporate credit union regulations. This rule becomes effective 30 days from its publication in the Federal Register.
