NCUA published its agenda for its August 29 Board Meeting. Â On the table are:Â
- Proposed Rule â Part 704 of NCUAâÂÂs Rules and Regulations, Corporate Credit Unions.
- NCUA Guaranteed Notes Maintenance.
- Temporary Corporate Credit Union Stabilization Fund Assessment.

The Federal Communications Commission took President Obama's Executive Order regarding easing the regulatory burden seriously. Â Yesterday, the FCC announced the removal of 83 outdated regulations.
A couple of weeks ago, NAFCU sent a letter to NCUA on its annual Regulatory Review process. Â That letter can be found here. Â I don't think NCUA will find 83 rules to remove or modify, but the letter highlights numerous opportunities to ease the regulatory burden on credit unions. Â Â
