Important Regulatory Dates Add to Calendar 2024-01-05 17:00:00 2024-01-05 17:00:00 Comments Due to NAFCU: Federal Reserve - Debit Interchange Fees and Routing NAFCU would like to highlight the following: For debit card transactions from the effective date of the final rule to June 30, 2025, the interchange fee base component would be 14.4 cents, the ad valorem component would be 4.0 basis points (multiplied by the value of the transaction), and the fraud-prevention adjustment would be 1.3 cents. Beginning on July 1, 2025, every two-year period will have all three components of the interchange fee cap recalculated using the most recent Debit Card Issuer Survey (DCI Survey) data.
