CORRECTION: ICBA Has Until March 27 to File Appeal on Member Business Lending Rule
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Washington (March 10, 2017) – The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) has until March 27, not Feb. 23, to appeal U.S. District Court Judge James Cacheris' granting of the National Credit Union Administration's motion to dismiss the banking trade's lawsuit against NCUA and its member business lending rule.
CUNA and NAFCU believe the court's dismissal of the suit this January vindicates NCUA's rulemaking. The two remain confident that the court will uphold the district court's ruling regardless of any appeal.
